We would like to inform our clients of upcoming rate changes affecting Visitors to Canada (VTC) and Out-of-Country (OOC) TruStone travel insurance plans, effective July 1, 2026.
These adjustments are being made to help ensure the continued sustainability of coverage and to maintain the high level of service and protection that travelers rely on.
What Is Changing?
Visitors to Canada (VTC) Insurance
- Rates will increase by 5% for applicants aged 0–69
- Rates will increase by 15% for applicants aged 70 and over
Out-of-Country (OOC) Travel Insurance
- Rates will increase by 15% for all age groups
Important Information
- The new rates will apply to policies with an effective date of July 1, 2026 or later
- Quotes generated before July 1, 2026 will retain the current rates
- Updated rate tables will be available prior to the effective date
